Midwest Theatrical Wig Styling

For the past eight years I have been a wig stylist for community theatres in the LaSalle-Peru/ Illinois Valley area. Working with theatres such as, Stage 212, Community Players Of Streator, River Valley Players, and the local High schools and Junior High schools. In the eight years that I have teased, spray painted, spray adhesive, and gone through countless number of bobby pins I have created some extravagant wigs.

In 2007 I graduated from Educators of Beauty Cosmetology School and received my Cosmetology License. Using techniques from beauty school with research it is been a ‘wiggy’ adventure. For most of the shows that I have done wigs for have been front lace synthetic hair wigs. I have worked with facial hair, human hair, hard fronts, and wiglets. *Note - I do not construct wigs. I design and style wigs. I can, however, construce lace facial hair.
